(FAIL)ĪCC = Decent version coming, no Triple screen (CATASTROPHIC FAIL) minimal cars (FAIL) (FAIL)ĪC = not really a good version available. Mine is Bathurst! All I want is a decent (laser) version of the mountain in a decent sim with AI, and now I’m losing sleep thinking AMS2 won’t be it. If AMS2 is Madness engine where are the modded tracks going to come from now, can you even add modded tracks to Madness/PC2 ? I have no clue.Īre we going to be stuck with just Official content now? Which is totally OK, in fact I would even say I’d prefer that, as long as the tracks are decent and keep coming regularly.Įveryone has their favourite tracks, they cant live without. Where are all the extra tracks going to come from now? AMS relied a lot on Patrick for all the decent add on/converted tracks. and now they are getting decent laser scan track of Bathurst and a couple others… ticks me off immensely !! Anyway…. However after being an early backer for ACC and I don’t even play it now as it turned out to not support triple screens properly, and I never would have backed it if it was a well-known fact at the time. Reiza already have my support via early backer, and im sure it will be a good product. The region files have been tweaked as well to add a little more gloss to the car and with new Ambient Occlusion files the cars really pop now.I am starting to feel a little concerned… The position LED on the front windscreen is gone now and driver names and numbers changed to match 2021. In addition bias is adjustable in 0.1 increments now. Brakes have also been adjusted and brake bias can probably be more tuned to the rear as in the RL car.

Cambers have also been treated in the same way to give hopefully a good out of the box first drive experience. Tyre pressures I have defaulted to 145 to give the casual user a better experience however they can still be lowered to 117. Ride heights in the default have been changed also. The motion ratio of the suspension has been lowered as we have leaned over the spring/shock unit more so hence you will see stiffer springs and shock values in default. The engine file also a new mapping which adds a little more bottom end response as we felt it was lacking a little in that area. I hope it has more degradation than last years Super Soft. (I know the RL cars are white but we thought we would be a little different, also there was talk D.P was going to orange but with COVID this hasn't happened). This new tyre has red lettering to distinguish it. Tyres are now Hard, Soft and the ALL new Super Soft. Top speeds still seem to be achievable on a gripped up track and we have tried to match the pace of the car with the RL cars. So this has been increased slightly and to offset the increased speed of the car, engine HP has been dropped slightly. At the start we wanted to add a little grip to the tyre especially the mid corner grip. So 2021 has quite a few changes to the physics files. We can assure you they have been driven for hours and hours. They do use an S397 tyre with no changes however the diff will make them unlike a GT3 car. Therefore you can get extra wear if you are too hard on them and they can tend to try and drive around in a circle at low speed corners. Please be mindful these cars run a spool diff which means a fixed axle unlike your normal cars.

There is a Server Edition with open diffs for online racing. The diff ratios and tyres are set for the Australian tracks, with race changes. The mod has multiple options in it to suit various configurations of how you want to drive.
